American singer-songwriter and musician Randall Hank Williams (born May 26, 1949), better known as Hank Williams Jr. or Bocephus. Rock, blues, and country have all found a home in his music. Coleman Williams is his grandson, and he is also the father of musicians Holly Williams and Hank Williams III. In addition, he is Jett Williams’ half brother.
Williams got his start by copying his famous dad, performing his dad’s songs and trying to sing like him. In a December 1963 episode of “The Ed Sullivan Show,” Williams made his debut television appearance, singing many songs linked with his father. He made an appearance on Shindig! later that year.

Once again, Hank Williams Jr. is in love. The 74-year-old country musician announced his engagement to Brandi on the Facebook page of The Pure Hank Radio Show on September 4.
“The newly engaged outlaw country music and southern rock legend Hank Williams, Jr. and his beautiful and lovely fiancé[e] Brandi,” the post stated, accompanied a photo of the happy couple.
Williams, who lost his wife Mary in March 2022, has kept his romance with Brandi, 43, very low-key. On July 4, though, the “Family Tradition” singer posted an Instagram snap of his bride-to-be showing off her catch from a fishing excursion. There was an Instagram image of Hank and Brandi hunting in January with the caption “Sweethearts, Hank & Brandi.”
Williams’ upcoming nuptials come about a year and a half after the passing of his longtime spouse, Mary Jane Thomas (who passed away in March 2022). Sam, their 26-year-old son, is a musician, and Katherine, their 27-year-old daughter, was killed in a vehicle accident in 2020.
The autopsy and report from the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner indicate that Thomas, 58, died from a collapsed lung caused by a puncture sustained the day before during elective surgery. An accident was noted as the cause of death.
Williams posted a touching Instagram tribute to his late wife in April 2022, one month after her death, remembering the day they met at a performance in Washington, DC’s Freedom Plaza in 1984.
‘She gave me 38 amazing years,’ he said. Our son Sam, grandsons Beau and Tennyson, and granddaughter Audrey Jane are the lucky ones to have her lovely and lovable love live on in their hearts, he said. “Of course, so many people will forever miss her and love her.”
