Derrick Rose proposed to his wife Alaina Anderson in Medison Square Garden

Derrick Rose shared an image of Anderson showing off her engagement ring to announce the pair’s engagement. The NBA star also wrote a touching message to his partner, expressing how he didn’t expect their relationship to go this way. Rose further wrote:

After being in a relationship for years, Derrick Rose proposed to Alaina in Medison Square Garden in October 2021. Before their engagement, the couple were together since 2016, when Rose was still with the Bulls. It was an emotional day for the couple, as both Rose and Alaina wrote emotional messages for each other on Instagram.

After proposing to Alaina, Rose took to Instagram to write a long heartfelt message to her in the caption with pictures of their big night. The former MVP wrote, “Believe the words that I will have your back and love u forever. When I FIRST saw you I told Ryan that we were gon be together. It took both of us a while to let down our guards. That’s only becuz both of our hearts were scarred.” Rose ended his post by saying “We built a beautiful family and an unbreakable bond. Thank you, Queen.”

Anderson also commented on Rose’s post and wrote, “A WIFE!!!!! I love you!!!!! (With 3 hear Emojis) MRS ROSE TO YALL LOL.” She also re-shared his message on her Instagram Story, calling him her “hood poet” alongside several blushing and kissing emojis. Rose and Anderson have two children daughter Layla Malibu Rose born in 2018 and a son London Marley Rose born in 2019. He also has a son Derrick Rose Jr., born in 2012 from Mieka Reese.
