Aaron Bivens was a Veterinarian from Riverside, California, a profession he dreamt of since he was six years old after losing his pet who used to be his childhood feline companion. 

He graduated from Tuskegee University and played baseball while pursuing his undergraduate studies and obtained his veterinary degree from Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. 

Aaron Bivens graduated with the ACVIM Clinical Excellence Award and AAHA Small Animal Medicine Achievement Award. Dr. Bivens enjoyed learning about and developing special skills in ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery while in veterinary school.

He continues to practise these skills in his professional career. In more recent years, Dr. Bivens took special interest in theriogenology, especially brachycephalic breeds, influenced by his two English Bulldogs, Chubbs and Slim.

With the rising popularity of French Bulldogs and other similar breeds, Aaron Bivens wants to ensure that breeders and pet owners alike are well-informed and prepared when it comes to the unique needs and extra care required with these special dogs.

Outside of work, Dr. Bivens loves to BBQ, kayak, hike, and escape to the beach any chance he gets.

Aaron Bivens died in a drowning accident. It was revealed that he did not doe in a car accident as speculate but rather ‘drowned’ while swimming in Lake Mead.
